Re: Ship Stand Question
Well let us know how you go too...I'll be interested to see what you do. I've started to develop an interest in ship kits lately even though I could count on both hands the number I've built in my 'career'. Maybe eight. At least four of which were Bismarcks. There's a guy at my club who only builds ships. He gets some really esoteric kits from the internet...often resin. His 1/350 Richelieu won its class at our National comp last year...he depicted it during one of many repaints and his paint job was among the best and most original I've seen. It had no fewer than 250 PE anti-aircraft machine guns...each is about 3mm high and four parts! I find his stuff utterly inspiring. I'm thinking of a Prinz Eugen or a Scharnhorst as a start. I also like some of those Civil War Ironclads too.
