Does anyone know if the german ship, Lutzow, was considered a battleship or heavy cruiser. I see information that it is a battleship and its a heavy cruiser. Which one is it?

Lützow was the assigned name of a heay cruiser of the Hipper class that was sold incomplete to the USSR.

The name was then given to the pocket-battleship Deutschland.
