I'll probably build my Tamiya as a practice run and THEN get a Dragon one. I'm still perfecting my non-aircraft kit weathering techniques and the lesser kits make great practice models. Besides, I really want the little Zündapp motorcycle that comes with Tamiya's kit.

A Tiger 1 sounds like a great project....I've not seen a King Tiger yet, though. Anyone do one of these yet?

Re: Modeling News & New Kits

Thanks for that link Urban. I've bought some Lion Roar stuff on eBay before. There's a guy over here that I think is running a little business. He usually sells maybe twenty items at a time, all from L/R. I have a set for Tamiya's bicycles...now if I could only find the base kit...
Lion Roar is good stuff.

Re: Modeling News & New Kits

i don't know if it's been mentioned on here (forgive me if it has), but the dragon king tigers with zimmerit are the best kits on the market, they are absolutely fantastic. here is one i did a few months ago.

Don't mean to sound irreverent, but with all the 'heads-down,' pensive poses, it looks like someone just asked a tough riddle!!!

That is a nice looking VIB, though, I'll give you that.

Re: Modeling News & New Kits

Great camo work JJ. That Iwata was well worth the outlay.
