Where do you start ? Talk about spoiled for choice.

So much to do ..... such a small budget....

Re: Modeling News & New Kits

Okay all you ship modellers out there...you'd better sit down.
Here's the impending new release from a crowd called 'Soar Art'. These people are renowned (apparently) for LARGE kits with several kits of German railway guns already released. I give you...

Re: Modeling News & New Kits

I saw an article (with pics) about some guy ,I think in one of the Northern states who built a copy of the Bismark. It fit over a small boat with a 15hp.engine and he sat in the middle. I think it may have been about a 20 ftr. It showed him launching and riding it. Cool.

I seem to remember something similar now that you mention it.

Re: Modeling News & New Kits

Another retired sailor has made a model of an aircraft carrier - one that is still in service. It is about 3+ metres long and has 1/72nd aircraft, figures etc. It has taken him years. All the below deck stuff is being done and it is motorised. He has also tested it on water. Personally with the work put in I would not take it anywhere near the water.

Re: Modeling News & New Kits

Didn't you shoot your models up with an air rifle like I did mate?

Me either. But that's only because I don't have an air rifle anymore.
