Re: Model Kit Reviews

I hadn't either until I bought it. It was a sale item from my usual on-line site. The guy warns of a clearance via email, then posts the bargains at the designated time. It's a first up, first served affair. I bought this Verlinden kit for $8 thinking it was something else. No worries...I like it so I'll build it one day. It recommends I use the Revell Panzer III as a base for it. I never knew Revell had a 1/35 range.

Re: Model Kit Reviews

That is a good one to try in 1/72. I may have a go if I can find some more pics of it.

Pics of the Su-76i? I have some others I'd be willing to send your way. I think I have a four-view line drawing somewhere too.

Re: Model Kit Reviews

That would be great. A really interesting subject for me is the changes made to captured equipment but this particular one is different altogether. If you have pics is it possible to post them here?

Thanks Geek. That one would be an interesting make. I wonder how many were converted as I've never seen or heard of it till now.

Re: Model Kit Reviews

No worries mate. I don't know much either. I only did a bit of digging when I received the Verlinden set. I had actually bought something other than what I thought. I'll build it one day I think...the set recommends Revell's Panzer III but I doubt I'll go that way. A good Dragon Pz III is more likely as this is a 'one-time' build being quite an expensive project.
