Reporting In

Hi - I'm a British member, whose father served in WW2, and have spent most of my life visiting WW2 battlefields and interviewing veterans. Nice to have found another WW2 forum. Looking forward to a good look round.

No-one knows everything, that's for sure.

"I'm love ww2 soildiers" is certainly a somewhat bizarre statement!

He served in the Royal Artillery in North Africa and Italy 1943-45, and then India 1945-47. He took part in operations at Anzio, and later was on the Gothic Line and in the Po Battle. Am pleased to say he is still alive; he'll be 90 next April.

I look forward to reading your posts. Glad to hear that your father is still alive, 90 is quite a blessing!
