Recommendation
Hello, as I stated in my profile, I don't know much about the WWII, but I am really interested in the subject and would like to get to understand it in all of ot's levels. I was hoping to get some book or series of books recommendations to get myself started.
Thanks |

Re: Recommendation
Hello and welcome!
If WW2 is a new topic to you, I recommend starting off with some lighter reading such as Goodbye, Darkness by William Manchester or The Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors by Jim Hornfisher. Both of those books focus more on story-telling than the more technical aspects of the war. Stephen Ambrose's works are all very entertaining as well. If you do get into things more and want books with more details, try the books in the William Manchester collection. American Caesar and Arms of Krupp come to mind. Both are outstanding but can be a bit difficult to read. |

I have many book reviews posted (many written by myself) at this URL below for your reference:

Buenos Dias, Rodrigo! Okay, that's just about the extent of my Spanish...
Everyone starts someplace. What areas do you know a little about right now? What interests you? That can give us a place to start for more recommendations.
