short introduction

Greetings,as my name suggest,I am not only a avid historian of WW2 ETO I am also a collector of same.I have studied and collected since 1967.I am a geologist and my job has graced me with worldwide travel. When in Europe I made contact with a number of the "personalities" of WW2.I am hoping I can contribute in some small way to the site.I am married with 2 college boys sucking my wallet dry.

Re: short introduction

Welcome to the site Jack. We're glad to have you here and are looking forward to hearing more of your stories.

I hear you on the college thing. I have one that just finished his first year and one a couple of years away (and another after that too...ouch).

Re: short introduction

Greetings, Jack! It sounds like you will bring an interesting perspective to the board! I don't suppose you've ever trekked in Northern Finland/Karelia???

I have 3 boys as well. One starts high school in the fall, the other two aren't even in kindergarten yet. I believe in prolonging my misery....

Re: short introduction

Welcome aboard Jack, I have three children as well, my oldest is a boy, the younger two, aged 16 and 13 are girls...although I wish I had three boys, I would not trade my two girls for anything. But Dang it all, they are so High Maintenance. Thay came with a 2500 page manual but its written in Greek.

Again, welcome aboard
