Tongue cooked and sliced is a popular dish among east European Jews. Many delis in New York offer it. I know for a fact that you can get it at the Carnegie Deli on 7th Avenue in the 50's.

@temujin77: Intestines. There are some specialities in Vorarlberg with Intestines. Includig lots of Sauerkraut. The first time I ate Frog legs I was in Texas (strange enough). Pig feet and ears I have seen in various states of America in Gas Stations. But I never had the stomach to try it. My Grandfather likes them. But he puts dog into the Gulasch. So he may not be the best example.
