Hi everyone.

My name is Steve. I dont know as much about World War 2 as I would like and usually only like to talk to people in a chat room type of place. I belonged to two other forums in the past but one was just silly people arguing and the other one kicked me out when I was on vacation. I never could find out why but I think it was because they wanted to lock out people that were not expats in Japan.

I live in Goddard Kansas on the west side of Wichita. I would like to say that I am a diesel mechanic but I know that I have a long way to go before I can become certified. I try anyway.

I joined a couple weeks ago after I found this place while I was doing a web search for information about Australian diggers. I remember talking to some people in the chat room about it and thought that they were very nice people. I have not found as much about the diggers as I had hoped but my life usually doesn't end up on line very much anyway.

I hope I might learn something here.

I work on the big 3406s and 3408s more than anything Wolster. The only time I see any of Cats 3516s is on their generators. They make good stuff. What kind of problem are you having?

Hi Steve! Welcome to the Zone!!! I am absolutely positive you will love it here, and will experience none of the "dumb stuff" way too many forums exhibit these days. I actually belong to several forums too, and the run the full spectrum of "niceness" and user-friendliness (is that a word?)...I have only found one other site (Days of Wonder) that can come close to approarching the amazing warmth, camraderie, fun, and overall good cheer as displayed here. If I could only choose one place to be, this would be the place! Settle in and have fun learning about a facinating and pivotal time in the globe's history!
