My favourite plane? well to me it has to be the Spitfire, not the fighter versions, but the Photo Reconnaissance MkIX, such a worker, no guns, no radio, just a load of cameras. Used by the RAF, USAAF and some were sent to the Russians.

Nice, I don't know much about that, but the ones sent to Russia is very interesting to me!!

Hello mfg, and welcome to the forum. I have always had an interest in the PR stuff myself. I grew up beisde (and learnt to fly at) RAF Benson. I cant remember, but I suspect that was where the pictures of a very young me with the PR Spit were taken.
