Hello everyone; Don McHenry here...
This is Lt.Col Don McHenry, ret'd., looking for other WWII vets, especially any I knew back in the day in Roswell, Dodge City, London or wherever else I was stationed. I was later reactivated for Korea Please post here to start the ball rolling.

Welcome to the Zone Mate! I don't know how many WWII Vets we've here at the Zone but there's plenty of members who's got parents n' other close relatives that put in their service durin' WWII.

Not sure, We can very well have some older gentlemen as members besides you. Hard to tell though for me at the moment as I'm stuffed with a dose of paraflex at the moment (whiplash injury).

Welcome, Colonel! Good to have a veteran join the crowd!
As it turns out, I just received a book about Korea in the mail today. I did the map, so it got signed, too! I should have another, soon, as I did the editing and a map for that one, too. Interesting how Korean vets suddenly pop up! And just as we discuss opening up sub-fora for other conflicts! Sir, may we ask what outfits you served with?

Welcome to the site Colonel. I did set up a "Veterans" forum here but alas it hasn't attracted much (read "any") activity thus far.
I hope you will consider posting something down there. As you're well aware, you are a member of a vanishing group of men and women who served in that era and we are anxious to preserve some of their personal history first hand. Welcome to the site!
