As a suggestion. you might want to send Whiterook a copy of Fundamental-case to show him what is going to happen if he keeps sniffing those boxes.
I don't really do digital stuff MAGNA. It's about making things with my hands. I've tried it when I was studying but it hasn't got the 'magic' for me. 'Eject' is about ten by ten centimetres (about 5' by 5' at a guess) and each dot is done individually with a 0.1mm felt tip pen...usually over a pencil line drawing which is erased later. I did one which I'll post later of a Panther tank firing at night. It's foolscap sized and took me three months working at least four to six hours a day.
Panzer, please include your stuff here because it's great and people will love it. I know there are a few others who might be persuaded to add their stuff here too. I hope they do.
As for 'The Brush King'...I'll leave it to him to reveal his 'true' identity but a good detective can work it out from posts in other threads on this site.
Thanks for the encouragement people. There will be more when I get some time...I have my modelling club meeting tonight.
Peace.

Re: Members Art

That's fine Geek. Creativity is the main thing I reckon.

Don't forget to post The Panther once it's done please.

Re: Members Art

Oh...I finished the Panther maybe six or so years ago. The hard part is that I exhibited it once and it's framed...difficult to photograph. It's on the 'other' website somewhere but the pics were worse than my usual. I'll certainly post it here though, it's one of my best in the dot style I think...just too labour intensive to do them so big. If I priced my work by charging by the hour, Bill Gates would be my only customer.
I like some digital art...a mate of mine does tons of it. There's that guy 'over there' who does his 'pop-art-esque' WW2 aircraft too, I like his stuff.

Re: Members Art

I found this already uploaded to my PC. It's a bad pic but it'll give you the idea until I can get a better one. As a tongue in cheek dig at the pretentiousness of the art world, I titled this one; 'Hydrogen Plasma Spectres With Device Beneath A Revolving Universe'. This took me three months.

Peace.

Nice work Geek. I like the looking up towards perspective of it too. Must have been a lot of work.

Re: Members Art

Here's some stuff from my gallery over at ACG:

Pencil perspective:

Oil: kind of blurry pic...

Mixed media shadow box:

Pastel on Velur:

Ink: My favorite medium.

Acrylic pastels/colored pencil:

Those are the works my mother has up at her house. These are all from when I was in highschool. We worked with many different mediums and techniques ranging from Batik to silk screen to cut glass. I took art for six years in highschool (12 courses) from an excellent teacher who was basically teaching a college level course in highschool.

Re: Members Art

Nice work Freight...I'm glad somebody else posted some stuff. I really like the oil beach-scape...I just LOVE blue oil paint...I want to be buried with a tube of cobalt.
Peace.

Re: Members Art

Here are a couple more of mine. I finally got around to scanning all my stuff into the computer so I'll be able to post more here...still waiting for the 'Brush King' I note...

Combat.jpg

Panic.jpg

Vend-A-Venge.jpg

The first two are on consecutive pages of one of my sketch books and were done in 2000. The third...well, it was just a thought.
I know the guys in the first two look like they're kinda 'generic' in their mix of gear...the point wasn't historical accuracy...I was just mucking around a bit.
Peace.
