Re: Members Art

Man they are cool. What medium have you used...look like pastel to me? Thanks for fixin' the glitch mate.

Another fine-liner trip. Some of my sci-Fi stuff.

War Machines.jpg

Abstract(ish).

When RPGs....jpg

Untitled 1.jpg

Sold this one at my first exhibition. I drew this the night after I broke up with an important girlfriend. I was pretty unhappy at the time. I still know her and her sister owns the piece...it's meaning and inspiration unknown to her.
Peace.

Thanks. Yeah it is really wierd what one shadow or light mark can do to an entire image.

Thanks. Yeah it is chalk Pastels. Although the one of myself and the protester had a random layer of stuff underneath but none of it showed through. I still have no idea why the teacher had us do that.

Re: Members Art

Here are a few more;

Shark's Headphones.jpg

This one is pencil.

Gravity Well.jpg

Another Sci-Fi dotfest...

Dark Seed.jpg

As is this.

Unfinished 2.jpg

This one exists as a pencil line drawing. I traced it onto this paper and used coloured pecils to get what you see. It's not finished and never will be. The line drawing is much better and this one doesn't do it many favours. It's also quite bland...

Re: Members Art

Some awesome talent displayed here, gentlemen.

Nick, Your use of stippling is great, as well as time consuming, I'm sure. Have you ever tried scratchboard?

Matt, you have a real flair for portraits. Great use of lighting and real character in the faces.

Please, please, more!

Re: Members Art

Indeed I have kentek. I love it as a medium and I used to airbrush onto it. It's nice and smooth so it's great for airbrushing and 'white' areas are a breeze.
