Cyberia, I recently met a gentleman who was in the German army in WWII. He was at the Eastern Front, where he was wounded in the mouth, and foot. A bullet grazed his lips, and another went through his foot. It was very interesting talking to this fellow. He said that in the heat of battle, he prayed that God would get him out of that situation, then he was wounded. He was so scared, he said, that he stood straight up and bolted over the hill toward his side of the lines. He met up with a doctor, who treated him for his injuries. It was a real pleasure to talk to him and hear his story. This fellow is now an American, came over after the war. I was born here, but I now have a special place in my heart for ANYBODY who is put into that nightmare called war. I ,at one time, thought I might be called up for Desert Storm, because I was in the Reserves. I'm glad I wasn't. I don't know if I could have handled it. I don't even like to look at pictures of dead bodies, I don't think I could knowingly kill another person, unless it was kill or be killed. Then I guess anybody could. God Bless all our troops, no matter what nationality. I guess except terrorist.
