Museums with Axis equipment

I'm compiling information on museums with Axis WW2 equipment on my site, the Axis History Factbook, and I'd appreciate any help with additions (text or photos) or corrections to the material.

The museums section can be found at http://www.axishistory.com/index.php?id=56

Thanks.

(I hope you don't mind me posting this here)

Re: Museums with Axis equipment

It's a good start there, Marcus, nice job.

Here are a few pictures you can *link* to:

Japanese flag:

Japanese Type 99 light machine gun
WW2DB: [Photo] Japanese Type 99 light machine gun on display at the National Museum of the Marine Corps, Quantico, Virginia, United States, 15 Jan 2007

Both are found at the National Museum of the Marine Corps at Triangle, Virginia, United States. Note that for now you must *link* to them. Should you wish to actually use them, please contact the photographer Bryan Hiatt for permission. You can get in touch with him through me.

I hope this helps. I have many other German and Japanese weapons in photos that I've taken in museums, but I haven't post them all to WW2DB yet. When I do, I'll let you know probably through this thread (so please subscribe to it).
