Again Hitler liberator.

In Russian "liberator" can be: "osvoboditiel" or "vyzvolitiel" - same or almost the same meaning.

Thanks for the translations Lancer. And yes, Klaus, I have a little knowledge of Cyrillic...very little. I could "read" Hitler and guess at some others.

Re: Original Posters, the MichaelG Collection:

Thanks for your translations, Lancer!

All are correct, a friend from Poland translated them for me many years ago.

From the "Machinegunner" I own two sheets, all 5 posters I bought for 250,- german marks in the 1980s on a local fleamarket.

I was offered very much money for the 5 posters, this is very scarce stuff nowadays, and all 5 posters are in perfect condition, 1-

Regards

Michael

Re: Original Posters, the MichaelG Collection:

@ Jim: "Cyrillic"! Thats how you write it! I didn't know who to write it. So instead of emberassing myself, I wrote "Russian letters". But I would have written it correct after all. Rats!

Hi Michael,

I'm in the printing industry and once I had a lot of interesting prints in the garage. I throw them all out...
When there was "revival" of Star Wars few years ago,. one of our printers found in his garage original very first "Star Wars" poster from the Australian premiere.
Just this poster fetched $40,000 on auction...
In the collectors world everything is possible. Posters are rare.

Good luck!

Thanks, Lancer!

I know, the 5 posters are very rare, so I will contact the best poster expert here in Germany, Mr. Joerg Weigelt.

His auctions, and the american auctions of his son are some of the best, worldwide!
