It never got that far so I wouldn't know but your right that it would be useless after a little while. The same goes for the Vickers as the Maxim there both water cooled so they can fire for quite a while longer that was the reason I told him I would the Maxim it you know he's always had his Bias torwards more advanced guns but this was a long time ago and I do remember him giving me a good reason why he would use it I just don't remember it I was 13.
