thats really wierd that it said the U-Boat was sunk. Ive heard from a couple sources that it surrenederd and the uranium was used in the atomic bomb that was dropped on japan. As for the Hitler thing. I dont know what happened to him but there are tons of different possiblities. Personally im still sort of going for the "run away" theory. Yet there are problems with all of the theorys. If he ran away then someone would have noticed him. Yet some ran away and where captured years later. He might have stayed in the bunker but we never really got a complete confermation of his death there. There werent any bulletholes in the wall yet he shot himself. He could of escaped in a plane yet it would be very hard to not notice a german plane and hitler coming out of it. Stalin could have captured him but he probably would have told the world. Or he could have kept him; knowing that if he told the rest of the world, they would have wanted to bring him to trial and he would of wanted to keep him for himself; for whatever reasons. Many theories, many possibilities. It would be great to find out someday. Yet we'll probably never know.

On the topic of burning a body to disintegration, I saw a show once which dealt with so-called "spontaneous combustion". In such cases, bodies supposedly "disappear" more or less, with few clues to go on. Of course, I'm not interested in spontaneous combustion here, but rather what I learned from the show. Bodies evidently can burn to ashes, if done at a steady burn over many hours. Apparently the fat from the body acts as a "fuel" which burns very hot and perpetuates itself. I believe they showed this to be true by burning a pig and letting its fat fuel the flames.

So, it's possibly that a body could burn to ashes under certain circumstances. Even if the body does not completely "disappear", it could burn to the point where the body form is essentially ashes.
