As Klaus said, so they say, but they have no proof. See my post above for conflicting Stalin era statements regarding Hitler's fate. I have a tough time believing much of what came out of Stalinist era Russia unless it is researched source documents, and they are still hard to come by even now.

Ive heard that as well that they have his skull. You would think it would be on display or osmething. I dont believe it though. They have no proof and im with Jim O on this one. With the Stalin era statements. the statments cant really be trusted.

Not really, there probably fear that if they put it on display it's would become attraction to Neo-Nazis.

He could also have had plastic surgery I suppose. But this wasn't any "normal" person we are talking about. First, he was quite ill by this point. And second, it's hard to hide your real voice when angry or stressed. Last, living in hiding would not have been in the style of Der Führer.

I vaguely recall that now also. But even that article casts doubt on the authenticity. Without independent DNA analysis, which likely will never be available, I won't beleive anything the Russians say about this. Too many lies have been told over the years in regard to this sunject.
