hey again

i recently read a book called: "The Last Great Secret of The Great Reich." It was an extremely good book. It was about a U-boat captain who had tons of uranium on his boat. He had plans for anti-aircraft guns, two experimental planes, and two japanese officers on board. All headed to japan. The plan was since Germany was done for they wanted japan to try to turn the tide, so they sent them their major technology. They had about 12 scientists if i remember and about 13 "unidentified passengers." Who where they? It may be out there but what if Hitler was on that boat, along with the generals and other officers that were never found and brought to trial. They say that they cremated Hitler outside his bunker with gasoline. Yet it is impossible to cremate someone with gasonline. It cant get hot enough to burn them enough. Even if they did they would be able to find his teeth or bone fragments. Yet, they found nothing. Also, Hitler was supposed to have shot himself through the mouth. Yet, there are no bullet marks in the walls of the bunker. Strange... So, my theory is that he was on that U-Boat and was dropped off somewhere or maybe he died on board; we would have no idea of knowing. The boat, at the end decided to turn itself into the americans. (a little side fact: They were found by a Canadian boat and ordered to turn themselves in. They had no intrest of surrenedering to the candians; so they continued onto america. i thought that was pretty funny.) But when they turned themselves in, they were missing the "unidentified passengers" that were on the roll. But there is my two cents. Ponder this little bit and lets see what others think.

Wow! Whoever wrote this book had a lot of time at hand. And wasn´t afraid to waste it.

I think that there would have been no use for Hitler to get out of the remains of germany. I mean: You got to be blind and deaf not to recognise Adolf Hitler. This guy was on the cover of the Time magazine.

Tell us what you really think Klaus.

I'd guess that the gasoline charred the bodies of Hitler and Eva Braun and that Soviet artillery and bombs did the rest of the work.

Stalin and the KGB at various times claimed that:

• he died and they had his body
• he escaped
• he was alive and was kept in their custody for many years

What's clear from that is that the Soviets most likely had no bodies and no evidence. But the likelihood that he could have hidden anywhere in the word (except perhaps in the mountains of Afghanistan )is pretty low.

Why should the russians keep him under custody and not tell anybody?
It would have been a even bigger victory to catch Adolf Schickelgruber alive.

Imagine: The Nürnberg trials with Hitler. Would he have worn sunglasses? Would he have kicked Göhring in the shinbone once in a while? Would he have called him names?

Long before the end Hitler was essentially mad, he trully believed that both he and Germany should share the same fate.

He wasnt going to run away because he didnt want to be captured.

On this subject has anybody read a book called 'The Berkute'or something
like that.

Story goes Hitler had a double and a secret room in the Bunker.
Hitler's double commits suicide and the real Hitler hide's in the secret room.
SS officer rescue's real Hitler and flies off to Bavaria in last plane out of Berlin

Long couple of chapters ....eventually Hitler captured by Russians and held in a Large Birdcage by Stalin poked by sharp sticks every night when Stalin got drunk or annoyed.

Sounds a crap story but I enjoyed the book...could not put it down....Mrs Peter Eire loaned the book out ...never saw it again hence cant remember

Did David Irving write the book?I agree with what Klaus has said.I know this is the internet and anybody can say anything and I am not here to mussy the waters.I was able to chat with Artur Axmann and he told me that they burned the bodies for 2 hours and 20 minutes.Axmann like many of the germans had a selective memory,I really belive he was telling the truth.Not to mention that Linge and Schultze said the same thing.Thats long enough to do a great deal of damage.Its curious how the goebbels autopsy photos are clear and legible yet the few Hitler/Braun photos are grainy and vague.I think they only found bits and pieces.

The Uboat you are refering to did take those material and persons,but was lost at sea.I cannot put my finger on the number of the uboat,but I am going to look it up and give more info on this subject asap.

I believe that it was the U-234, it not only contained such things as ME-262 plans and ME-263 plans but also a few Kgs of uranium.

Sarge, you're right, this is getting OT, but I have to ask. You're kidding about the number of the U-Boot, right??? The U-234?? Carrying uranium? That would have to be one of the biggest ironies of the entire war, since the atomic number of Uranium is, well, 234!!!

Way but the atomic number of Uranium is 92. One of the isotopes has an atomic mass of 234, and that would be called U-234. (I guess that I can be a bit on the pedantic side also).
