Re: Why Germany never can escape it's past...

I'm still not sure. It doesn't look like Neo-Nazi Flag that I know. (If someone is wondering now "How does he know?" I'm not a Neo-Nazi. I just seen a lot of demonstrations and people who sold them.)

Re: Why Germany never can escape it's past...

Hardly anyone in Britain thinks of Germany in a detrimental way Klaus it is History now. There are some that go to football that just want to commit acts of violence just like the neo nazis. When we play Germany at football a minority within the crowd sing two world wars and one world cup. Although when you ask questions about the war they look at you blankly. They think that Britain won both world wars on its own. Without America's support before during and afterwards we would have been ****ed (Sorry Jim) In my view those people would find any excuse or any idea to vent their anger which is probably to do with something else. About six years ago I think it was during the european cup when it was in England, I am not too sure. A paper called the Sun showed pictures of German helmets and swastikas before the game with Germany. There was uproar in Parliament about this and some MPs said it was racist which it was. Many ordinary people were upset to. The general feeling was that was a long time ago and even old soldiers stood up in Germany's defence. One old soldier said Rommel brought glory and honour to Germany and the Africa Corp. That they were just fighting for their country just like us.

As well what an idiot if you saw someone dressed up as Stalin you would think an idiot no? Negative attention seekers. Why you would see such a person as a hero or a anti hero is beyond me. But there are people in Russia that liked Stalin thought he was a great guy they say things like he was strong just what the country needed. I would hate to be in the company of people that they would consider as monsters?
