As i do agree with you guys for sure, but here's the thing for me anyway.
We don't get a whole lot of WW2 films anymore so i guess at this point i'll take anything on the subject, and wait til i see it first befor i rail on it. As for Tommy, well i thought he did alright in "Born on the 4th", he wouldn't of been pick tho for this flick.

Born on the 4th of July is probably his best performance ever n' that's really a good movie.

Tommy Boy was a half decent actor before he became seduced by the blockbuster genie. He was pretty good in 'All The Right Moves', 'The Outsiders', 'Risky Business', 'Born on The Fourth of July' and let's be honest, while not exactly art, everyone wanted to be a fighter pilot after 'Top Gun'.

My faves were Risky Business and Top Gun. It's sad that the F-14 "Tomcat" has been retired by the US Navy. I live very close to the last airbase where they were in active use and they were quite a sight. The F-18 "Hornet" is not as majestic.
His other problem is taht he has been seduced by a cult-like "religion" and is absolutely nuts.
