Na na na nah (snap fingers twice)

Fitting no doubt

Support is probably one of the biggest factors in getting through some mental dilemmas, and I can't thank you all enough in that regards. I'm glad to see roddoss72 you made it though worst that it gets, and even gladder still you can talk of it. I send a PM to you if you have not read yet and the same door is open to you or anybody that needs to talk, even if it's just somebody you know that don't come here. For those of us who suffer to whatever degree, an open door and ear can be more powerful than any pill. (Not to say they don't have their place, as does professional help.) Many believe I’m sure, not being ex-military for instance, they could never be of help, this is not true, people in crisis need to know someone cares. Listening and not shutting them out can be a huge step, and if it seems beyond your scope you hopefully put them on the path to the help they need. Feeling alone on top of the other problems is not a good thing.

I must say Tom you have a place in my heart too and you have been more help than you'd ever imagine. I look forward to the day I get to shake some if not all of your hands.

Re: Ever feel like you are on a knife's edge?

Well this probably won't make much sense to anyone but I gotta get it off my chest. The past couple of months I've been in a bad state emotionally, my physical health has declined in a major way because of it.

Tonight I ventured out with my 18 year old son (he's 6' 1" and around 280 lbs, but the kindest, gentlest person you could ever meet)

It was around midnight and a couple of immigrant folks (I'm thinking Eithopian by their dress) came walking our way. As we approached them I could sense they were scared and they actually walked over into the street to steer clear of us... they considered the danger of getting run over better than walking close to us. My heart dropped a bit lower than it already was.

Why? What has happened here? I feel bad for that couple that they had to feel that way here in America. My son felt guilty "scaring" them by our mere presence.

I'm just feeling bad about it, and about most everything else in the world.

Peace,
Bill

Good day Bill

Of course I have no idea of your state or why so I'll draw on my exspirance. I know when I was at my worse point over a two year period I must have given off terrible vibes, a cloud of doom if you will. I lost what I thought to be good friends and others just steered clear until the clouds lifted so to speak. I was in such a condition to some they must of thought it was contigious.

Living in strife torn lands which these two people likely hailed from they probally have a lttle more finely tune sense for trouble, I'd say their survival radar kicked in and gave you wide berth just in case.

Just a thought or course, I could be way out to lunch. Maybe they have had trouble with locals at that time of night.

If you'd like talk out anything or just unload feel free to PM or Email me. I understand this feeling of feeling you are scaring people, it's hell for those of us who not that way at all.

Try to have a good day, Bob out
