Check out the helmeted shadow of the photographer in the first one.
Yep pretty much says "Unprofessional", and likely a buddy of the soldier hurt or another medic recording the moment.....look at the gear in the background, some of it pretty much says its owners were KIA or hauled off wounded....

Wounded "Grossdeutschland" Landser is helped from the field by buddies, during "Citadel"

Wounded "GD" Landser stops for a quick chat with a buddy who is heading to the fight during "Citadel"

Buddies check in on a friend with a hand wound.

A wounded leg is carefully bandaged by the unit "Sani" (Sanitater/Medic) Fall of '44.

As one "Sani" holds his head, a wounded "GD" Officer has his leg wound tended by a team of "Sanis" Fall of '44

Re: Medic!

A dramatic photo of a Russian medic dressing the head of a wounded man at Stalingrad.

This is an "official" photograph, but I have always felt it had been doctored, no pun intended. The "action" taking place a few feet away just does not look right.

Curious what others might think.
