Interesting opinion. Politics of peacefeeping notwithstanding, I agree. It's time.

What do y'all think?

Re: EDITORIAL; Germany’s Army

C'mon. Germany has no national intrests in the Middle East or Aafghanistan. They're only wasting their troops, since Germany, like so many other European nations, have sold their soverignty and econmies to the vampire of nations, the UN and EU.

If one checks the recent news about the Bundeswehr Iron Cross and the German troops posing with skulls in Afghanistan, they still have that fascistc politically correct attitude, shame and so called 'eternal guilt'. These are symptoms of a dying nation, along with it's shrinking population.

Re: EDITORIAL; Germany’s Army

Kevin,

The question was not about the politics of peacekeeping, as I stated, and leave your personal politics aside, do you see Germany's new position more in keeping with her obligations?

And if you believe that Germany had no national interest in Afghanistan, well that's another issue with which I do not agree. The world has an interest in that, and the attack on the US might as well have been initiated by the then government of Afghanistan. Germany has an alliance with the US in NATO and so that becomes a matter of obligation. It's not hard to connect those dots.

I've been patient with you but this is not a site for you to espouse your politics. You're entitled to opinions, but this is not the place for them.
