    Reporting In.

    Hello All,

I found your site while exploring the net for armor information. It's a very interesting site. Your forum topics really cover the spectrum of WWII. I have had an interest in WWII since I was a child, my father being a veteran. I collected TR items for close to 30 years with a focus on the Iron Cross. A few years ago I chucked it all in and sold the entire collection. Well, if you are a collector you probably know it's easier to give up crack. Having always been interested in armor, I began collecting US Armor and TD patches of WWII. I also collect Armor/TD Ike jackets and within the last year have begun to collect Armor/TD Purple Hearts. I look forward to posting some of the collection, but of course in the case of the uniforms, I need to properly photograph them.

I also modelled armor for many years but have taken more than a few years off. I have a closet full of 1/72 scale subjects that I have to get going on again. Fast closing in on 50 and the eyes are going.

That's it in a nutshell. I look forward to meeting you all and enjoying the site.

Welcome to the site namesake. I feel your pain. I'm also closing in on 50 and the near vision surely is not what it once was.
