oh really? any where specificly in illinois? i really need to start shooting. ive maby shot at ranges 3-5 times in my life...... but boy do i love to shoot those pumpkins

In Chilicothe, near Peoria, we shoot one a month....No pumpkins...just standard NRA targets at 50 yds. It's all in fun and you get to see a very fine collection of old warhorses from all the WW2 era. One of my pic threads is in Kilroy's Place somewhere......

You gotta bring yer own.....sometimes the ammo is free for certain matches....mostly you bring yer own ammo too.

Now that I think about it I should probably be gettin' to the ranges too. Don't got too much longer till the real tests! Except now we need to rip arpart our basement for an AR-15, or sometihng close to the sights.... grreat
