A Classic case of 1000 yd stare....A young landser eats a pilfered apple in a French Orchard...August 1944


Strain.....A Machine gunner in Late Autumn of 1942, Stalingrad.
Defeat.....German Garrison commander Cherbourg, France, as he surrendered his troops to the Allies.


Anger.....Somewhere on the Eastern Front near Stalingrad. The Landser in the foreground........short of a look of rage.....his kameraden behind him, ALL have the 'stare.'
