In fact if you look at a world map that has the North on top, the natural orientation of our planet is North to the left and South to the right.
Seen this way, the Earth rotates the normal way.
North is placed on top, but is it logical to do so?
The ancient maps (Piri Reiss etc) show the South pole as top, as have egyptian maps.
It is only because of northern hemisphere colonialism that the presumption of North to the top has come about.

Attempts at so-called "proper" orientation are clearly arbitrary.
