    Are you sure???

It looks a lot like the M69 'Predator' Tank Cyberia.

Ah, you guys are not thinking outside the ball. You are staying attached to the Earth's surface, not looking at the Earth from orbit.

For instance, if you look "down" on the Earth at the North Pole, the Earth will appear to be spinning Counter Clockwise.

Now, if you go to the South Pole and look "down", the Earth will appear to be spinning Clockwise.

Well, which is it? The Earth only spins one direction just like the cyclones but the "apparent" direction is reversed in the Southern Hemisphere. Therefore, if a cyclone is spinning "backwards" in the south, it is still spinning the same direction as those in the north (with respect to the Earth's surface).

If you play the right hand rule game, you will find that the torque vector points the same direction in the north and south for all cyclones of the same latitude. This is required by conservation of angular momentum. You can't turn a crank on a gear and have it spin both directions. The Earth's rotation is the "crank" that spins the hurricanes.

Do this thought experiment. Take a cyclone at +45 degrees north. Now push it through the Earth on a line through the center to the opposite side of the planet to the surface at -45 degrees south. Amazing, the same cyclone is now upside down (with respect to the Earth's surface, not from space) and therefore appears to be spinning the opposite direction. However, the torque vector has not changed directions because you are looking at the "bottom" of the cyclone in the south rather then the top as in the north.

It's ALL about reference frames and POV. If you look at things upside down, they look upside down, even though they are not.

Living on a the surface of a spinning ball is much more complicated then a nice "flat Earth"...

A common mistake with this tank, Dave.

If you look closely the Mist has several small pistol ports on both the turret and hull as well as a slightly different angle to its armor. There are also auxiliary line hookups on the rear side panels for additional exterior fuel tanks for greater range when needed. (don't see how you missed that)

The Predator, although using a similar hull and turret design and cloaking device, has a bracket on the upper right section of turret for an additional weapon and infrared targeting.

There is also a large rear turret stowage box for transporting spinal cords, although this feature is somewhat obscured in the photo.

Actually, if you take a cyclone at 45 degrees north and move it south then it will dissipate at the equator and never reach 45 degrees south! Why is that? Because the Coriolis force is essentially absent at the equator.

As for not seeing the Earth from orbit, did I not post satellite images?

True, but fuel supply was never a factor because it ran on lettuce leaves.

True, as they hibernated underground this left them in position for a surprise spring rear assault.

The UP(Untersee PanzerKampfwagen) IX Deep Sea Daving Tank?

I'm actually really surprised its design was not successful being a "Daving" tank.

Looks to me that the daving part of the design was quite successful...
