Hey all, here's some new pages for Sgt. Rock. Since I'm not making a super killing on an interior pages, I cannot spend more than a day or two on each. You'll see most of the pages in their initial stages, no color, clean up or newly inserted "correcting" panels to help the story out better. I hope you enjoy.
Thanks for all your help!

The numbers on the side of the Higgins boat will be digital. The front sight on Rock's M1928 got a bit erased. I also extended (as I did with the other pages) the fore grip.

The soldats on the lower left hand corner were changed to the gun emplacement at Easy Red Beach. You'll see it getting hit by Naval gun fire later on...![]()
Yeah, I know I took the top panel from "Private Ryan" and like they did -- put some of the obsticles backwards. I was doing it so fast, I didn't realize it and wanted to punch myself in the head -- so I did, and fixed it in photoshop for the color version.
There will be lots of tracers streaking down from the MG nest in the last panel.
Also, thank you GI-Rene for the head's up of the lower left hand image!!!!
Felt it just worked --![]()
The destroyer depicted here is the USS Stevens. It was in the Pacific Theatre, but one of my comic book heroes Sam Glanzman, served on her and it was repeatedly featured in the old GI Combat comics of the 60s-80s. It also served in his great graphic novel "A Sailor's Story." I also forgot to put in Rock's assault gas mask bag...
