Russian Artillery phase.

Heavy mortar shells rain down on the Ostwind and hit the JagdPanzer as well. Both are unscathed. Co. Z phones the nearest mortar yard to see if they take trade ins......

Well the Russian air commander certainly means business. Three more Sturmoviks come in, two at the JagdPanther and one at the JagdPanzer.

The Ostwind fires at the closest plane attacking the JagdPanzer - complete miss. All planes keep coming.

The JagdPanzer is suppressed.

The JagdPanther - completely destroyed - a gaping hole opens in the German front line.

Russian fire and movement to come next.

Nice shooting Co. Zhukov!!

Air crews cannot be transferred to mortar units sorry. The last time they blew themselves up trying to get the tubes to take off.
