Its kinda of little happy joy song... I wish all the enemy AT crews just shook their hands at us... then the last verse.... yeesh:

That song is still sung by austrian Panzer-Crews. I like it very much.

Does anybody know if German crews still sing this?

As far as I know yes. A friend of mine was in a Panzer-Crew in Germany. They sung it. That was about 16 years ago. Could be they don't sing it anymore. But I doubt it.

I know this. My father sang and then hummed it right up to the last months of his life.
