Subject: [Atlantikwall] Urgent question on German troops
Hello Chaps and Chappees,

As you might already know I am investigating a murder case, which took place
October 27th 1944 in the Dutch city of Vlaardingen.

In this area, Hook of Holland and VB Rotterdam, was occupied by the 719th
German I.D. and units of the Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine.

After September 3rd 1944 the 719th I.D. was moved to Belgium Albert Channel
because of the allied advance.

The troops were replaced by an ersatz SS regiment and the ausbildungs
regiment Hermann Göring.

Who can help me or direct me with the following questions?

Which unit was quartered in the city of Vlaardingen October the 27th 28th?

Has somebody information on a certain Hauptmann von den Kraft?

A high ranking fanatic German officer was killed in the Rembrandtstraat
Vlaardingen by the Dutch resistance in September or October.

Your help would be grateful in this chaps!

Kind regards,

Eddy
