Operation Sealion

Just the name of this operation scares most of the former ACG'ers.

Well we all know how far Hilter got with this one . But lets just say he did own the skies. He landed his troops and you're a pne of his advisors. He now wants to know where to push his troops and when.

This is for fun! Please be detailed. You may land troops where you like and have very little limts... let me go over them, before I forget ..

1. No use of atomic/chemical/biological/nuclear weapons
2. No firebombing
3. No blwoing the crap out it to a smoldering pile of rubbel...not orginal

Other than that, do as you wish! You have troops, tanks, planes, ships, etc to do your work. Let the creativity begin!

WAIT: Due to a recent thread such as this one, please do not duscuss whether or not it was possible to stage an amphibious landing... oh the horrors...

Trev,

Three things:

First, what would be the difference between atomic and nuclear weapons? (sorry, I couldn't resist).

Second, this forum is for serious research, not "what if scenarios" so...I'm going to move it to the "What if

Third, good topic for discussion.

Re: Operation Sealion

Rest asure guys, I'm going aviod that. I'm asking what would YOU do if you were an advisor. We're skipping the part about the air stuff and just assuming the skies were German. What would you do?

For those who don't know the landscape of England...:

Well I'll start it off...
Simple plan, the luftwaffe will control the skies and take out hard targets and do straffing runs when needed. A naval bombardment of 2 days will be concntrated on all of the beacheads.

Re: Operation Sealion

The problem is to take out RN as Luftwaffe would have trouble to take RN out even with air superiority n' the Kriegsmarine ain't big enough to go headlong 'gainst RN.

Rest asure that this thread is under heavy surveilance...

Re: Operation Sealion

The Royal Navy was always the ace up the British sleeve in this scenario. Curious to see where you're going with this.

Re: Operation Sealion

In short! RN would have a field day even if they take heavy losses from Luftwaffe.

I have to admit, waffle has my interest piqued.

Just keep the lock handy, Urban. I hear you know who googles the title looking for new hunting grounds.
