Nice collection Paul. I have noticed on both sides that the women would wear proper ties in WWII, but today they wear those funny things under their collar. Its a small thing, but I always wonder what brought about the change.

![]() ![]() ![]() A group of Luftwaffe Flakhelferinnen in training. These women "manned" Flakfernrolr, or flack telescopes, that measured distance and speed of enemy aircraft for anti-aircraft gun crews.
