Found this picture on the net with the caption below n' no further information so I wonder if anyone here knows more 'bout it.

A split-second before explosion (the camera survived, however)

It looks older than WWII to me, maybe The Great War but I'm not sure.

I was thinking Great War as well. I think there is a forum for weapons of war, maybe it would help to post it there. There might be something distinctive about the shells.

Well one of the Supers can move it if they like, but I personally thinks that it fits better here as it's 'bout women in factory work.

I've seen the picture before but it was the caption that stod out to my eyes.

I saw that photo two weeks ago on a site that was a mix of First and Second World War photos about home front efforts. It was Great War and I think it was tinted and French or Belgian in origin.

She certainly looks like a Great War 'Canary'. The explosive used stained hands and hair yellow. Her clothing dates her somewhat (not really suitable for factory work huh?). Are you sure the caption was serious?

I'm not sure 'bout the caption since it was on a blog that I saw it n' that means that there little credibility but still I got curious.

Oddly enough, I don't think any of us had considered that option. Way to think outside the box Horch!
