On the upper right propeller blade is has the Installed/Inspected Dates: 10-2-42. That pretty much narrows down the time period when this photo was taken!

If it weren't for the women doing traditional male jobs, we couldn't have placed as many men in the fight. Females also flew combat aircraft from the factories to the ports of embarkation to get them to the fight. If needed, we could have used some of these females to fly cargo, and even combat missions. The notion never flew though (but we could have). Tom.
