Thanks Jim, and so true. It is a shame more photos like this do not surface today. I'm sure there were thousands who did not allow their disabilities to stop them from stepping forward and lending a hand when their country needed it.

Not the greats shot here, but interesting...


Four women in a raft

War workers gluing pockets inside rubber assault boats for U.S. Marine Corps. The photo shows the outer tube of boat completed before bottom has been applied. Note the map and clock on the rear wall. No doubt motivational.
