Re: My library - you rate it!

Okay, I notice a distinct lack of Aberjona books there. However, I won't hold it against you if...

Would you be willing to shoot me a list of Kfz numbers for light cars and trucks? I'm putting together a list of Kfz numbers, and the various PKW and LKW seem to be hard to track down.

In that Hetzer book, does it say anything about those vehicles in the service of 6.SS-Nord? In spite of conventional wisdom, I now have information that Nord had up to 14 of them, and I'd like to know more about them if possible.

Remind me to only visit if you're not home. If I got anywhere near that library I would become very asocial. Too much good information there!

Hi Nord, err, I mean Tom! I will check the Hetzer book for you on the weekend. What are Aberjona books? What do you mean by the request to shoot kfz numbers? If it can be done, it will be!

Troy

Thanks, Mate!

You've not heard of Aberjona Press? Really? My friend, these are some of the best books on the market, and not just because I did maps in many of them! Or because I'm an authorized seller! Let me find the right thread for you...

Here it is!

Sorry, American idiom. I have a list of most of the Kfz numbers, but I know I'm missing a bunch. Do I have your e-mail address? I'm at work, so I can't check. Maybe I can send you the list I have already, and you can add the numbers of the cars?

Now that was a classic quote.....Nice one.

Your collection is great. Puts my library to shame for sure.
As for Aberjona books....I have all but one as they put out a great product.

It's all about the money. Never enough for what I want.....and just when I think I can get what I want.....more comes out.

My library is large but maybe not quite as extensive as yours.

Re: My library - you rate it!

Hi-find Your Library Diverse And Extensive, With A Heavy Dose On Books About The Wehrmacht. Not Bad At All But I Notice You're Missing A Few "essentials" Like Beevor's Works On Stalingrad And The Battle For Berlin And I Don't Remember Seeing Any Of Glantz's Either. Glantz Usually Deals With The Soviet Army, But It's Good To Get Both Sides' Perspective. I Agree With Tom About Aberjona Press-definitely Worth A Look If The German Perspective Is Your Niche. Another Publisher To Look At Is J. Fedorowicz Who Carries A Rather Large Number Of Works On The Eastern Front. Admittedly They Are Expensive And Sometimes You're Better Off Getting A Softcover Edition. Meyer's 2 Volume Set On 12th Ss Panzer Runs Close To $100 And Is Rather Hard To Find, So Like Yourself I Have The Stackpole Editions. Good Luck And Good Reading!

Re: My library - you rate it!

I shall have to do a slight update on this list to reflect my latest buys, one being by the superb Mr Beevor, and I'm afraid I have to go for the Stackpole versions of many of JJF's books, the hard covers are too expensive for me I'm afraid. You are the second person to recommend Glanz to me for a different view of the Eastern Front, that is going on the list!
