For what it's worth, Amazon.com's US site has their availablity listed as September 10 (for Volume One) and September 30 (for Volume Two). The price is about 30% less than Stackpole's listed price and if they are purchased together shipping is free to US addresses as that exceeds the $25 threshold.

My experience in pre-ordering books from Amazon is that they most often arrive at my door on the listed "available" date, and are shipped separately even if the less expensive "ship all items together" is selected.

Aye Jim my friend, you Americans living back in the states are lucky. Their WWII books, even from Amazon, takes only a few days!

While for foreign blood Americans like me abroad, if it's Amazon the Wittmann books would take months to cross the Pacific.... and even if it's used books, 3 weeks. Aye books... drives one crazy.
