Re: Beevor books

Have read Berlin, Stalingrad and Crete. All excellent. Spain is the next on the list.

Re: Beevor books

He's a great author. I very much like his style which is pleasant to read. He gets a lot of stick from "serious" historians but I think they are just jealous of his success.

Isn't the "Leningrad" book the next one to be released?

Re: Beevor books

I bought 'Stalingrad' in October 2008 and I have read it twice so far, and I plan to read it a third time in the near future.

It provides a sufficient amount of detail and information. The knowledge that you will gain from reading it is expansive and well worth it.

Crete and Leningrad are next on my "want list".
