Question SS Armour on the Eastern Front

I just saw a hardcover book that just came in yesterday and it was quite interesting to me. A bit pricey at $100.00, pic heavy, but many I hav'nt seen before and it first came out in 2005.
The author is a Velimir Vuksic, no surprise I hav'nt heard or read anything about him, but has anyone else, and maybe have this same book by chance?

Cheers, thanks, is it worth the price of getting this? I do get a 10% off "good customer" discount to!!

Re: SS Armour on the Eastern Front

Man, I came to this part of the forum to ask about this very book. As far as I know, it's unavailable in Australia but 'pic heavy' books are a modeller's dream. I've just been given the green light to try to get a copy from the 'finance manager' (read 'partner') and was wondering if anybody had a copy. so far, I've seen a few copies at 'Amazon' (seems like my only option) and would be happy to buy a second hand copy. I've only read reviews written in modelling magazines but they all rave about it. The second hand ones are going for around $80US...about $95-$100 including postage to Oz.

Mate...if that eBay one hasn't already gone you should go for it. Also, why not consider a second hand copy from Amazon...last I checked two days ago they had six copies ranging from $80 to $100 US.

Re: SS Armour on the Eastern Front

Was digging through my collection the other day and found my signed and numbered hardcover copy of Armor Battles of the Waffen SS, 1943-45. I had no idea it was worth that much. I need to dig through some more boxes in the attic.

Re: SS Armour on the Eastern Front

You sure it's the same book mate? 'SS Armour On The Eastern Front 1943-45' by Velimir Vuksic? If it is...I'd hang onto it. It arrived with a bang among the modelling magazines...touted as a 'must have' reference for German armour buffs...then nothing. Nobody mentions it. Remains unavailable in Australia unless one imports one's own copy ($$$$$$). I'll get a second hand copy from Amazon I think.

Edit...I'm a twit. I just looked at the link you provided...different book.
