Re: Panzer Elite

It's about US$80 (a lot less than your laptop was...). You can download a trial of it at Parallels Desktop for Mac.

Re: Panzer Elite

Thanks Jim. I will have a look. Sounds better than rebooting. Mine isn't a laptop though - I would get screen envy

Question Re: Panzer Elite

It always looks interesting, and now I'm not in some uber-gamers forum I feel I can ask a dumb question. Is it as difficult to play as it seems??

Re: Panzer Elite

It probably is. I will find out when I try it although it looks like once you get the hang of things it will be fine.

I must admit I usually just go for the move and shoot controls so I may need to practice a bit more than I normally would.

I have a "mixed marriage" of computers. My desktop is a Dell PC and my laptop is an Intel powered Mac. I have virtualization software installed on each.

Re: Panzer Elite

I downloaded the time limited package. It's a good system, especially for swapping data. It has reasonable speed for games too. Funniest part though, one Windows game doesn't come up with anything on the setup screens etc when running under actual Windows (from bootcamp). When I ran it in the virtual system it is a fair bit slower (an arcade type so no big deal) but the setup screens have the graphics and clickables in them !
