Klaus, I won't even comment on the kitten part...

Is the wedding for Hitler or for you? And isn't Mein Kamp forbidden in Austria?

Uh, Er.....Um.......I wonder who your talking about?

Im a hardcore sniffer from way back in the days of Avalon Hill Games. The best "Smelling" game i've ever smelled was Memoir '44! It had a pleasant aroma of fresh plastic and fine Artist Oils from the board when i first plucked it from the box. I think its time someone stages an intervention on my behalf..... Ive got it bad.

OK, that's what I'm talking about! You 'da man, KGP! I couldn't have said it better myself, especially on the Memoir '44....a fine vintage!

But I am definitivly a sniffer. I am not a sicko and smell my 360 cartridges, as some may or may not do, () but I definitivly smell new books, Nazi-stuff I ordered and just arrived and other WW2 related stuff such as Dragon figures and my recently purchased copy of "Mein Kampf" (wedding edition).

And sometimes I smell the fur of my kitten (pet not girlfriend) to see if it betrayed me again and ate at the neigbours. That's the most strange thing about me. Otherwise I feel very, very sane.
"Hitler felt sane too, ya know?" Oh, shut up will you?!
You show promise!

I think I'll stick with modelling glue. the smell is there for you every time you open it and it's cheaper too.

Re: So, how sick are 'ya?

@Jim: It is forbidden alright. But some fleamarkets still sell them. The dealer where I bought mine had about seven copies left. Owning one is not forbidden, otherwise they would have to arrest all my grandparents, my girlfriends grandparents...and so on. You get my drift. Everybody got something from that time at their homes. But what you should avoid by any means is standing at a public place and reading it out aloud. Bad idea.

Hmmm, you present an intriguing point, however, last I knew, sniffing boardgames didn't necessarily cause braincell damage, though some would argue that point.

Yeah, well, I am beginning to wonder about the gas emissions from plasticised cardboard.

Wow, I thought I could never come out of the "sniffers" closet but here I am! War games should satisfy all the senses. Smell is just one of them. I like to fondle the pieces and listen to them rattle around in the box. However, I don't recall tasting any game. The saliva messes up the chits when you lick them...

Arrrr, a pint of Rum to my Pirate friend! Yup, I will confess to many of the same sensory quirks, but I too have never tasted a game...the chits are a choking hazard!
