Re: Reconnaissance at Korocha (GAME FAQ's)
Just wanted to put this out there.
Partial hexes count as in play terrain. This means when you move "enter" your units into the battlefield you can enter any 1/2 hex that is on the bottom edge of the map as your initial entry hex. For example the following hexes are legitimate hexes: 17/H10 and 17/J10 so you CAN use those hexes to enter the battlefield and be in cover terrain rather than thinking you have to enter into an Open Ground hex such as 17/C10 and 17/K10 because it is a full hex.

On our cool ride , is it computer "dice rolled" in, depending on the Russian vehicles that may show up, can we "call" the half-track in as needed, or might it be in play "whenever"?Thanks Captain TRDG ![]() |

Re: Reconnaissance at Korocha (GAME FAQ's)
It will arrive onboard in the movement phase of Turn 2. Once onboard it will be under your command (any vehicle that arrives next will be under PD's command and the next one yours and so on). You will issue move and fire orders like you would any other of your HQ units.

Re: Reconnaissance at Korocha (GAME FAQ's)
Some Terrain information.
Orchards, Plowed Fields and Brush do NOT block LOS. These terrain types do reduce fire into and through these hexes because they interfere with visibility into and through them but they do not actually block units from seeing and firing through them. Basically it is harder to get a bead on the units you are shooting at through them but it does not physically block all the bullets.

Re: Reconnaissance at Korocha (GAME FAQ's)
Some more Terrain information;
Movement into Orchards, Plowed Fields, Woods, Building and Brush (pretty much any NON-OPEN terrain) costs 2MF to enter. If you are going uphill you double the normal costs for that hex. This means going uphill in a woods hex would cost 4MF. During the ADVANCE PHASE can move 1 hex regardless of MF cost.

Re: Reconnaissance at Korocha (GAME FAQ's)
DD, if I read earlier posts correctly, I am of the understanding that, after checking in with our HQ commander, we Platoon Leaders will actually be sending our Orders into you via the Order Form? And that if our HQ Commander doesn't agree with my move, I can do it anyway? (Don't worry Tom...just want to be crystal clear on Game Play here).
