Correct, in both instances. Vehicles can only button/unbutton at the start of their Prep/Advancing Fire Phase unless forced to do so by enemy fire.

No, they do not have a Smoke Depletion Number.

They can "throw" smoke but only during their Movement Phase and it costs 2 MF to throw it into an adjacent hex and 1MF to through it in the same hex. You would have a 1 in 6 chance if it being successfully placed.

Actually in checking the rules again, you can see all the way though Orchards as long as both firer and target are on the same level. Its a +1 Hindrance for each hex in between the 2 units but does NOT block LOS.

There is a Sniper Activation # and anytime that # is rolled during certain actions in the Prep Fire, Movement, Defensive Fire or Advancing Fire phase, then a sniper attack "can" be triggered. This can happen more than once.

Re: Reconnaissance at Korocha (SASL Tactical Discussion)

I have completed the turn BUT the long part is writing up all the details with who fired at who and what results etc. I am finding I have to keep extensive notes each turn.
