Arrow Company A, Report HERE!! (Korocho ASL game) TRDG.

A Company Roster

H.Q. platoon, TRDG, Tom

Co leader

2-4-7 (Rifle squad) x 2

1-2-7 (gun crew) x 2

HMG x 1 ( needs a crew to be fired and carried, either a 2-4-7 crew or a 2-4-7 rifle squad )

MMg x 1 (same as above)

Deployment area

Group 1. Co leader and 1-2-7 x 1 (gun crew) with HMG deployed in hex H-9, against the brick/stone wall.
Any leader gives a fire bonus to any squads "stacked/grouped" together, the HMG is unassembled, so can be used to fire as a LMG, but gaining some movement options until put together, (which takes time).

Group 2. 1-2-7 x1 (gun crew) with the MMG not assembled (so LMG fire mode) deployed in hex I-9, on the other side of group 1's wall. Can gain a shared group fire with group 1, who is next to this (or any) group.

Group 3. 2-4-7 x 1 (rifle squad) deployed in hex F-8 brushcover (half hex).

Group 4. 2-4-7 x 1 (rifle squad) deployed in hex E-9 brush cover.

When being deployed, all units are considered to be conceiled, so no Russian units (?) will be activated until turn 1 IF German units move and/or fire.

Mike will post up the deployed map with all the German and Russian ? units in the game, before we head to turn 1 orders. So all Co A platoon leaders need to post your deployed positions as I have above for deployment only.

Matt, (Airchallanged) may be away for finals, so I will post his deployment as best I can by tuesday afternoon, if he has not already done so by then.

P.S. I asked Mike to correct me if I got anything wrong in PM so I can edit this before time expires for this.

Captain (secret til' the first move) Co A commanding.

Re: Company A, Report HERE!! (Korocho ASL game) TRDG.

unsure why HQ is deployed so far to the left.

A company does not want to advance towards the Woods from the west of G7 road but to the east thru the orchard. Traveling up either the road or thru open ground B6-E6 will be painful.

without a a short time limit like we had in other game we can move slow and cautious

Re: Company A, Report HERE!! (Korocho ASL game) TRDG.

I thought we were heading to the woods on the Left Flank, especially after seeing:
  • Matt's deployment in the open ready to hightail it to them woods
  • Tom on his right flank ready to boogey up those roads
  • My forces were set to the right of Tom to cover through the hedges

But fter seeing Pat's deployment, looks like Pat is heading for the houses in the center. I can always divert my I10 Squad from deployment there, to deployment in M9 to move on turn 1 to N8 to support, but I really hate to split my forces!

Wink Re: Company A, Report HERE!! (Korocho ASL game) TRDG.

My fault WR, did you want to fire at anything? Mike needs this to run a full turn, no problem though, we will chat later when you have the time.

Cheers

Re: Company A, Report HERE!! (Korocho ASL game) TRDG.

I did not see the deployment of 1st platoon , if there is a MMG or HMG at D3 then 1st platoon is toast.

3rd Platoon is visble from O6, P4, P2, S6, S4 and R5 while moving thru J9 an open hex.

3rd platoon will activate R4 village
