Simplicity ain't so bad!

What's the simplest WWII boardgame you've ever played?

"Axis and Allies" is pretty simple. However, it has enough complexity to make it interesting. Air/Land/Sea with production and a variety of units.

If you mean operational or lower level it would have to be Computer Ambush (SSI, 1984)

Red face Re: Simplicity ain't so bad!

No clue on the name, a late 70's -early 80's game, the one with the plastic panther tanks, sherman tanks, AT generic guns and some kind of board you move on, a basic, but interesting game when I was "young"

Ha Ha, I always beat my dad in that one, then he always took revenge in ping pong, beleave it or not, the pool table came later...... There, I became the "master" again!!!

Cool Re: Simplicity ain't so bad!

Thats IT DD!! God, that was a X-Mas presant, and by the first or second week in summer, I lost most of the pieces in the dirt playing "battles" when I skipped the "green" army men ones.......

Cheers, WOW, good times then, and way simpler as well!!

Re: Simplicity ain't so bad!

Oh, Tank Battle was a sweet game! Nothing to it, but I loved the little tanks!
